Do YOU know how to help your pet in an EMERGENCY?
The Islip Town Fire & EMS Museum and Education Center will be hosting a fundraiser Pet CPR & First Aid training class on Thursday, July 6th from 7-9:30 PM.
This is a HANDS-ON training class (no boring slides or video) taught by a 30+ year seasoned pre-hospital emergency medical care provider and educator (our museum historian/2nd Vice President who teaches this in his career capacity). Geared for pet parents, pet care professionals (groomer, walker/sitter, kennel staff, trainer, vet tech/asst.) and animal rescue volunteers (no prior training or experience needed).
Registration fee is $60.00 which includes a 25+ page detailed handbook, certificate of completion (valid for 2 years) and an emergency muzzle. A portion of the proceeds benefits our non-profit museum's daily operations/special projects.
Limited to 40 seats (every student gets their own demo animals/training props, no live pets permitted), pre-registration and payment required, secure your seats (up to 6 per registration) @ www.pawsnclaws911.com/register-online
