Do YOU know how to help your pet in an EMERGENCY?
The Islip Town Fire & EMS Museum and Education Center will be hosting a fundraiser Pet CPR & First Aid training class on Sunday, April 11th, 2021 from 12-4 PM. This is a HANDS-ON training class (no boring slides or video) taught by a 30 year seasoned EMS provider and educator (our museum historian who teaches this in his professional career capacity). Geared for pet parents, pet care professionals (groomer, pet walker/sitter, kennel staff, vet tech) and animal rescue volunteers (no prior training or experience needed). Registration fee is $65.00 with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the museum's daily operations/special projects and includes a 25+ page detailed handbook, certificate of completion (valid for 2 years) and an emergency muzzle.
