The Islip Town Fire & EMS Museum and Education Center will be hosting a Historical Presentation on Friday, February 23rd at 7:30 PM showcasing the history of the communities of Islip and East Islip including their respective fire departments (the first two organized within the Town of Islip). Join us for this 90 minute presentation narrated by George Munkenbeck, Islip Town Historian and Tom Rinelli, Historian for the Islip Town Fire & EMS Museum and Education Center.
Fee: $5.00 donation per adult or $10.00 per family (children under age 14 admitted free of charge), includes admission to the museum which will be open for viewing prior to and after the presentation. The Islip Town Fire & EMS Museum and Education Center will be offering a variety
of education events for both the general public and fellow first responders in an effort to support the daily operating expenses of our private, non-profit facility.
